INLECOM Hosts AI4CCAM General Assembly Marking Successful First Year Milestone

INLECOM, a leading provider of innovative technology solutions, proudly announces the successful hosting of the AI4CCAM General Assembly on January 25th, 2024, in Athens, Greece. The event commemorated the project’s noteworthy completion of its inaugural year, setting a strong foundation for future endeavors in the field of AI-driven Cooperative, Connected, and Automated Mobility (CCAM).

The AI4CCAM General Assembly served as a pivotal platform for stakeholders to engage in insightful discussions surrounding the project’s Use Cases, important lessons learned, methodological approaches, potential synergies, and the promising roadmap ahead for the upcoming year. The meeting’s primary focus was on the three AI4CCAM Use Cases (UCs), which included discussions of actions as well as shared methodology and user acceptance. Participants  from 14 organisations explored strategies to harness the transformative potential of AI and CCAM technologies, laying the groundwork for innovative solutions that drive efficiency and safety in the mobility sector.

The assembly showcased the dedication and expertise of each participant, underscoring the collaborative spirit and commitment to advancing the frontiers of Trustworthy AI-driven CCAM solutions. Through interdisciplinary dialogue and strategic planning, the AI4CCAM community reaffirmed its commitment to fostering trust and reliability in the development and deployment of autonomous vehicles and intelligent transportation systems.

INLECOM extends its heartfelt gratitude to all participants for their invaluable contributions and unwavering support in making the AI4CCAM General Assembly a resounding success.

Considering Artificial Intelligence (AI) capabilities and potential risks, and taking into account its limitations, AI4CCAM will develop an open environment for integrating trustworthy-by-design AI models of vulnerable road user behavior anticipation in urban traffic conditions, and accounting for improved road safety and user acceptance. Leveraging the Trustworthy AI guidelines for general intelligent software systems and the ethical recommendations for connected automated vehicles, AI4CCAM will support AI-based scenarios management in which pedestrian/cyclist behavior anticipation models will integrate visual gaze estimation and where explainable ego car trajectory prediction models are simulated with ethical dilemmas and multiplied with generative adversarial networks and metamorphic testing techniques..

Inlecom Innovation is a proud member of the AI4CCAM consortium. As part of its role, INLECOM leads the development of a robust validation methodology for the project's diverse use cases and will spearhead the development of the project's exploitation roadmap, strategically mapping out avenues for the commercialization and deployment of AI4CCAM innovations.
